Screen time has a great impact on health. Watching TV, playing video games, spending time online or in front of a phone and the computer are most dangerous for human health. 

Due to this habit, people become lazy because this habit replaces physical activities like going outside for fun, taking walks and running, etc. 

People most of the time in front of a screen that affects human health very badly. Physical activities are very important to live healthily.

Effects of Screen Time on Health:

There are many negative impacts of screen time on health. Some main problems are the following:

  • Obesity
  • Irregular sleep patterns
  • Effects cortisol secretion
  • Effects of insulin secretion
  • Vision issues
  • Pain in neck and back
  • Causes death

Obesity:

It is caused due to spending more time in front of a screen. It is estimated that daily 2 hours of watching TV causes obesity that leads to hypertension and different heart diseases.

Irregular Sleep Patterns:

Spending more time in front of the screen interrupts sleeping patterns. People use mobile phones, laptops, and watching TV late at night that injurious to their health.

Due to less secretion of this hormone, the sleeping patterns of the people disturb, and sleep the challenge for them.

This hormone releases in the body when it deals with stressful conditions. It increases blood sugar levels and reduces the response of the immune system on the body.

Insulin is a hormone that helps to maintain the body's sugar levels. It is important for the body because it maintains the metabolism of the body and supply energy. Spending time in front of the screen affects the secretion of this hormone.

If people spend more time in front of a screen it causes vision problems. It causes a disease that is called “computer vision disease”

Neck and Back Pain:

Neck and back pain is caused due to the screen time. When people spending more time in front of the screen in a continuous straight posture that leads to chronic neck and back pain.
